I have a 1990 760 Turbo that has no power when accelerating (when the turbo needle gets to the turbo zone on the gauge). I have checked the codes twice, while clearing them in between, and have received 2-3-2 in socket 2 both times. The only descriptions I can find about where an O2 sensor would be located in on the catalytic converter. All I see in the described location is a plug sealing the hole were a sensor could go, but no sensor. Does the 1990 760 turbo not have an O2 sensor or is it located some place else?

I had a similar, though worse problem where it would not start most of the time and would require my working the accelerator constantly to keep it running. I replaced most of the ignition system and finally the fuel filter and finally got it running again for about a month. Tonight it started this "no power" issue and reporting socket 2 2-3-2. Any ideas of what I should check? If you say the O2 sensor, where would it be located on the 760 turbo?

Does anyone know if the 1990 760 (B230FT) has O2 sensor and where it is located? It is not where the repair manual I have says it should be, on top of the catalytic converter.

Thanks for any help someone can provide.

Jim

on some it is about 6 inches away from where the down-pipe joins onto the turbo, others are either before the cat or after it.
