I've got a 2003 D5 V70, manual, 60,000 miles. It's developed a "clonk", normally when changing 1-2nd, 2nd-3rd and back down. However you can make it clonk by going on and off the power in 2nd without changing gear. Don't seem to notice the noise in 3rd, 4th or 5th.

Is this a top mount that has got tired or could it be the all too complicated sounding hydrualic/pnuematic lower mount?

Suggestions welcomed.

Sounds like the lower torque mount..swap it over for a poly one..
