While changing ignition parts, realized my turbo did not have the air intake ducting between left side radiator and bottom of air filter box. Before I cruise yards looking-same between turbo/nonturbo? Or not actually needed? Thanks

Yeah you can find that part at a junk yard. I didn't know one went there until I was at the junk yard and saw it so I got it. Mine was $7.00 I didnt notice much difference but you can make it allow more airflow.

You don't really need it, but if it's not on there you're just going to be drawing in hot air from the engine compartment. Cold air is better. I'm almost certain they're the same on both cars.

Found one from a '93 non-T, 2 pieces- hose and radiator mount/intake "horn" . Hose from airbox to radiator was right. '94 T has a 2 piece mount and intake horn. Trimmed off approx 2 inches of the donor horn and it fit firmly into the existing horn.

Thanks for the replies.

If you lost yours, i'd say get it. Better to draw in colder air than the definitely hot air from the engine area.

Yeah, you know what tho bear. I didnt even notice a difference in performance. I just got it cause the big hole looked stupid, and knew it served a purpose. This was before I knew much about cars.

... and you did right, bro.

If you were on turbo cars, you'd prolly feel the difference, especially when the hot air gets sucked and doesnt allow the engine to perform as best.
