I've just became a new owner of C30. I have just bought it a month ago. After my two visits of the gas station I am just really curious what is the actual volume of the fuel tank?? I've been filling the tank when the indicator of the fuel was lit and the arrow showed that the tank is almost empty. But both times I could not put even 11 gallons of the gas. In the users guide I found that the fuel tank volume is 15.9 gallons which sounds a bit strange to me since I could only fill it with 11 gallons. Then rambling in the internet I found some C30 specifications with following info: 15.9 gallon main premium unleaded fuel tank 13.2. So 13.2 gallons sound more reliable to me but still what does 15.9 gallons mean? Does anybody know what is the actual fuel tank capacity?

i am not sure about the c30, but on my 850, it will show almost empty while there is still 3 gallons in there. it might be a failsafe meaning that it till show empty while there is still some in the tank to get you to a station. or it might be that your guage is off. that is unlikely. on my other cars, especially my camaro, there was a smaller partition in tank that would be like the reserve tank on bikes. the difference being that on my bike, the reserve tank is turned on manually. maybe another c30 owner might be able to shed some light on this.

The higher figure is US gallons, the lower UK gallons - 1 UK Gal =1.2 US gals - so 13.2 X 1.2 = 15.85, and this is rounded up to 15.8 gals. Hope thos helps.
