Hi everyone,

My wife and I just bought a 2002 C 70 HT convertible and so far it is fantastic. It has the Dolby surround stereo system and sounds phenomenal. The only thing is, the FM/AM tuner will not find any stations. The CD player works great but the radio won't tune. This is our first Volvo so it is quite the learning process. Has anyone else any experience with this issue? Is there a way to reset the antena?

Before you shell out money for repairs, verify that both antenna plugs are actually plugged into the back of the head unit. Push the 2 small tabs in on the HU faceplate to make them spring out. Pull radio out and take a look. Let us know what you see, then we can look further if necessary. BTW grats on the car.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion ... I tried what you said and unfortunately, no change. FM/AM tuner is still nothing but static. Also, now the CD changer is throwing an error. When I have 3 CDs in the holder, the bottom one seems to always get stuck and I have to play with it for a good while before it releases the holder ... I think I may just have to get a new radio.

Thanks for the tips though.
