i got a roof rack and tinted the windows. i got 35% on the drivers and passengers doors and 5% everywhere else. but i should have gone with 20% on the front cuz its a little too light. and maybe double layered 5% everywhere else

:) Nice looking Vehicle., appears well taken care of....On the tint., noticed your in the LA area., am not sure about tinted windows in all of California...I know my daughter lives in Coronado, Ca. (San Diego Co.) and she says the MVD states no tint whatsoever other than what the mfgr. installs at the factory., and absolutely none on the front two door windows and rear glass.....You might want to check with those folks....If you ever get a ticket for any type of infraction they could possible write you up on the tinted windows....Good Luck

+1 on my end. here in new york, technically, you can't have darker than manu. in new jersey, you def can't have darker than manu. if the NJSP catch you on the interstate, they'll make you remove it in front of them, personal experience. it looks fine for me, just dark enough to keep the sun and any weirdos from looking in, and not so dark as to not be able to see out. either way, nice job. the paint job came out beautiful. kudos.

Now just paint the grill black, paint the bumpers and rub strips black and put some clear corners on it and you will be stylin to the max.

Nice looking job :)

I too will chime in on the potential illegality issues. Virginia is very strict on any non OEM modifications, although they let most slide unless they just want a reason to pull you over. I am uncertain of the exact % allowed here (and even the last police officer who gave me a ticket for it said he couldnt tell me the actual allowable %...granted mine at the time was well over the limit though).

I have gotten tickets 3 times for it. Even once the officer told me I had to tear it off then and there. It's rather hard to see out of windows covered in tint adhesive and no tint...haha.

Although it is an infraction they can pull us over for here without any other reason, they tend to only use it as such when they feel compelled to pull you over and it gives them the legality to do so. Granted I recieved many other tickets when I was pulled over for it as well, so it was not the only reason I was pulled over those 3 times. (got 14 tickets in 2 days for it though on one trip...haha, all having to do with modifications and nothing to do with improper driving or safety issues so to speak).

I always assumed CA was like FLorida and allowed very dark tint, but I guess I was wrong, or it is localized per city/township. If it is common in your area, you are lucky, if not then watch out :)

Still, very nice looking car :)

well cali allows any darkness on the rear windows and you any tint on the drivers and passengers doors is illegal. but i dont really care. if i get pulled over for it, i get a fix it ticket. and i have an extra set of windows that i put on to show the court. my friend does that lol. but i dont think i'll get pulled over because my dad has double layered 5% all around and 70% on his windshield and he has never been pulled over for that.

like my 740, i have limo black on the rear windows, you cant see in at all, and only just see out, the back has been changed with limo glass so you can see out but not in, fronts are 35% which is the legal limit in the uk, the rears dont matter. looks beefy, and comes in handy for taking the mrs out...
