Hi Everyone,
I am new here and I'm hoping someone could help me with this problem I'm running into.
I'm working on a 1979 4 cylander 244
I'm having a hard time removing the fan from the water pump, to then access the water pump, remove it and then replace the water pump.
The 4 bolts have been removed and it's stuck - I'm stuck!
What to do next? I really AM STUCK!
If anyone could tell me how to proceed with removing that, I'd REALLY appreciate it.
Thank you very much already :)

Iff all thebolts holding the water pump are removed, then a technical tap is required to loosen it. If it's being replaced, then you can be even more brutal, as needed, BUTTT make sure there's NOTHING still bolting it on. Gaskets and masticks are sometimes quite sticky. a 2LB ball pene hammer and a heavy drift is usually enough, IME. Wedges (screwdrivers) on the gasket face are not recommended.

I think it's the pully lapis can't remove. Soak Penetrating oil to the centre shaft protrusion, tap with a hammer.

The last water pump I changed was about a month ago. It definately did not want to come off. It needed some persuading with a can of PB Blaster and a 3-pound hammer. After beating on it from side-to-side for about 20 minutes it finally came off.
