well everyone is going to know my choice seeing as i own 3 rear wheel drive cars and think front wheel drive is spawn of satan - no offence to people who worship FWD.

Haha, well mine is FWD, which has its uses. However, I am happy either way, as long as something moves the car :P

I still have my preference to 4x4 or even 6x6, but that is a hobby I havent been in for awhile.

I'll take my Volvo either way (or both ways)...just give me a Volvo :)

i've pretty much driven everything up until a 6X6. had a unicycle and thought that was cool until i hit the lamppost. the hell with one wheel. looking at my vehicles, i run the gamut. of course, RWD is my chosen way to go, but the FWD allure is calling me sometimes. i guess i go both ways like the byrd. hey wait a minute..... oh well, i am greek you know.

Rear wheel whenever possible.

The ability to steer via the right pedal is not to be trifled with.

Attempting to do doughnuts in an Fwd has got to be like trying to look cool in a CRX.

yes the appeal of being able to slide around with the handbrake on with fwd's isnt that good. its not big and its not clever! where-as on the other hand, rwd takes skill and class (and something with power) to do properly and then you start to smoke them. thats cool.

sorry fwd's, the only good thing for them is dragging logs up hills. (or dead bodies)

Did you ever see the old Saab commercial they did out on a runway, that was set to classical music? It's a long commercial, but the drivers they used did a great job. It was done back in the original 900 and introduction of the 9000 days I believe (with a quick cameo of the 900 convertible). I believe they were all FWD vehicles and a good view of what a FWD is capable of.

I have a copy of it somewhere and will post it up later today if I remember. Maybe not a Volvo, but still Swedish, so it should fit :)

Yeah, maybe, but a J turn is much easier with front wheel drive.
