ive a 93 440xi, not long since bought. ive noticed water coming in the boot on both sides of the side flanks. some was dripping down the aerial so i siliconed it up but its still coming in, especially on the other side where its not coming down the aerial.
also i took all the boot trim out and noriced something i was curious about. just above boot level on both sides of the reat boot panel flanks are like little vents - they are 3 squares together with liitle flaps in them then move out - whats that all about.
also on he left hand trim panel there's a storage box with a lid. within that is some kind of electrical point - for what i have no idea, and also connected to it is a rubber tube which ends up within a circular rubber thing abour 2in in dia that sits in a hole in the left hand body underneath the bumper near the rear wheel arch
confused. any help much appreciated
