Hi all. I have a 1992 960 wagon with the L6 engine. The problem I am having is the electrical connectors on my spark plug coils are breaking apart. I have checked with the local volvo dealer and with out a part number can't get new connectors. I have also checked the local wrecking yards and I can't find any connectors. What I need to know is there aftermarket replacements for the coil connectors or does anyone have part numbers that I can give the local dealer. If that fails does anyone have some that they can part with?

There is definately a part number for new connectors to the coils, your dealer is not searching correctly. Crumbling connectors and wire insulation is a very common problem on the earlier models. Wish I had the part# for you, but I don't.

Correct part # is 3523813. You need two per coil.
