Let me set stage...I know nothing about engines, except how to start and stop them. Living in a country where the Volvo dealer seems to only want to change engine mounts.

Have engine light, that says air sensor is bad, also cam shaft sensor is bad. Both replaced. Opening the area around the air sensor reveals engine oil, that must be coming from the engine....seems to be through the flame gadget.

Can someone tell me what the probably cause and fix is for this. Not sure I can navigate this site - this is my first attempt - so if answers can be cc to <cdtiller@yahoo.co> it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Chris

first off welcome to the site, secondly, unless you want to be spammed - dont post your email, a lot of web crawler bots come here.

Is your car a turbo? this could be why.

Also it could be the engine crank case gas recycling system is blocked. I could detail this for yours as its a newer bigger engine than mine. Others will definitely help you though.

Thanks for the advice. As I mentioned I know nothing about engines. There is nothing on the block which Says Turbo...how can I tell? And if this is the proceedure can you point me toward the cure.

Perhaps you can also point me in the right direction if it is not a Turbo.

Thanks.
