Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum - my Volvo is so reliable, I've never needed any assistance!

Anyhoo, I was just wondering if anyone knew the car tax band for a 1994 440 xi? I'm a little concerned about these increases that have been announced. Should I be?

I can find tax bands for most new cars but not older cars. I've got a nasty feeling we're all going to be robbed blind… Again.

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated :)

Unfortunately they are so old they dont fall into the bands, you just pay the basic £188 or whatever it is at the moment. Its a shame really because the measured emissions on mine are so low, that it would easily make the lower brackets, but thats the problkem with having an older car, never mind there will come a time its old enough to qualify for 0 tax.
