Firstly hello,

I have owned a cherished 240 GL for 3 years now and alls been fine until a couple of months back.To cut a long story short it cut out on me and went through diagnostics to reveal fails and this is what was changed out.

1.Mass air sensor renewed.
2.ECU repaired and remapped.
3.Carb body cleaned.
4.Vacuum pipes renewed.
5.Fuel pump relay changed.
6.All fuses changed out and holder cleaned.

needless to say after all this loving attention the old girl was running fine.
Until that was a few days ago.Pulled up and switched the engine off got in 5 mins later,turned her over and nothing.
Had to leave her there the night went back next morning turned her over and fired up immediately.This has been going on like this ever since and i cant seem to track it down.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

If the crank position sensor is original I would change it out.
