I have been offered a good condition aw71 to replace my tired standard non turbo box for my 2.3 740gle? Does anyone know if it will fit right in?

Also if anyone is selling a box for one in nz please let me know!

well if the box you have in it currently is a aw71 then yes it will. if it is a manual box then your looking at a bit more work and a new bell housing aswell.

i have an aw71 in my 740 2.0 SE and thats 1989.
