The pollen filter on my 2004 2.4 V50 was replaced in a recent service and to access it the electrical connectors (behind the dash on passenger side) need to be disconnected. When I picked it up I got an alarm error, air bag service warning, the sunroof, front fogs and rain sensor wouldn't work. The reason is poor quality electrical connectors. I disconnected them all, used contact spray and reconnected everything and all the faults disappeared :) . This is a known problem with the V50.

I have known other faults such as wipers not turning off.
