Hey guys I just joined the forum and so far I love it. I currently own a 2000 Volvo S40 1.9t (not fully loaded).

I started changing everything to aftermarket (sound/music wise). I just ordered a Pioneer Avic F700bt and hopefully (fingers crossed) i can somehow manage to fit it in the Double Din space available (matches the dimensions). I already installed 5.25 speakers all around. I need advice for the front tweeter/speaker if there are any to perfectly fit.

The stock unit has a CD changer (plays tapes and CDs from the trunk). I don't think this unit is accessing any other amplifier on the car because there is a space in the back of the unit that doesn't have a wire connecting (AMP). I will get all the harnessing kits and do have a 4 channel amp for the inside speakers.

Right now with the stock unit for some odd reason the speakers begin to distort at high volume levels (but doesn't occur when listening to radio or if the key is just one click in with Car off). Really confused about this and more info would be appreciated.

Other than that any suggestions to what can be done, shortcuts, or anything that i shouldn't do would be greatly appreciated.
