Will the lid from a 960 center console fit my S90? Mine is kinda beat up and there's a nice one on evilbay I'm looking at.

I’m not totally familiar with the US dates for the spec changes on the 960 and S90 respectively. The UK car however does change from 960 to S90 in December 1996. The centre consol (armrest) lid is different between the variants. The centre consol is the only obvious difference between the two variants. The snapshot way of telling which is which is the 960 slopes away from the lid towards the handbrake well in a straight line at approximately 45 degrees whereas the S90 flows vertically from the lid to a ‘ski jump’ type profile down towards the handbrake well. The switches for the heated seats and gear selector surround are also different. Unbroken 2nd hand lids are like hens teeth so good luck if you can find one. One of the very few poor designs on very well made car in my opinion.
