Hey, looks cool. My front left speaker has also been making some knocking noises. The screw holes have widened, causing the screw to 'tap' onto the moulding, hence the sound.

Maybe i'll try this fix!

I like the idea of the metal plating surrounding the speakers. It should last a lot longer than the present sound-board put in... Hmmmm...

I have had it on my mind to take them out of the box they are in and make them sit flush. It will require a little cutting but I believe I can make it work. Just getting motivated to do it is another story. :grin:
