Hi, my sister and my wife both drive v70's (01 and 02).
My sister accidentally put ethanol in her tank today.
She didn't start the engine but had it towed to the service center.
Presumably, they need to drain and flush the tank.
Any other thing to be concerned about?
What would've happen if she had driven away?

Bummer, that the ethanol pumps fit the unleaded tanks.

prob not do any damage to engine on one fill of ethanol but may well run poor and cause emission light to come on as does not burn as well as petrol. Longer use of ethanol may well cause engine damage and other problems on a car not designed for it.

Best change the fuel filter as pure (95%) ethanol will attract all the dirt and water in your tank. It could clog your filter. Pure ethanol has 5% gas in it so you don't drink it.
