Hi, guys
I've got a 2001 Volvo S40. Yesterday when I drove and tried to turn on the indicator, I found the turning signal on the instrument panel and the four light bulbs couldn't be turned on and work any more. Obviously it wasn't the bulbs' fault. But do any of you know how did it come and how the problem can be fixed?

Have the same problem with mine and just stumbled on a quick fix ( I believe it has also been posted here somewhere). Yours may be the same. Try turning on your hazard signal. If the lights and indicators come on, the turn signal indicator will work again. It could stop again (I am not sure what the root cause is but this always gets mine going again), but just turn on your hazards again and after the indicators come on turn off the hazards and try your turn indicators again. Repeat as needed. I think someone posted that the fix was the hazard signal switch itself, but I haven't checked into it.

If that doesn't get it going, you might have a fuse or relay out.

Let us know if this got it going.
