Very simple- anyone want to sell or even rent out an IPD softloader?

I figure as I'm not modding my R much, I'll only need to use it once.

Seems a shame to lay out a grand for a one-shot upload, and maybe someone out there might like some kind of return on their investment...

If you are only going to do it once, just do a flash from IPD and save yourself some money.

As with all OBD II programmers, once it's been connected to a vehicle, it's "married" to that vehicle. They are not interchangeable, and I don't think they would work with another car even if plugged in.

FWIW, with IPD you send your car's computer readings to IPD, and they send you back a program for your vehicle based on the readings they are given.

Aha! I was unaware of the marrying of a programmer to a particular ECU. This explains why tuning companies can charge what they do.

Darn.

'Guess it's time to start saving again...
