I was resently rear ended and I have to decide if it's worth reparing the damage or just get rid of the car. My front window, rear and front bumber were damaged and my dash air bags were deployed.

I was thinking about getting the parts at a junk yard, but I haven't had any luck finding the parts.

I love the car, but I'll not sure if it's worth reparing.

What a first posting.

Hello to all.

sorry to hear about the accident. hope you are well. the answer is up to you. do you like the car? you have to understand that they are expensive to repair. especially if it is a significant hit. what does the body shop tell you? the insurance company? after a hit like that, best to use new parts instead of used. but have the body guy look at it, it's not as easy as a chevy getting reared. especially if the bags popped.

Hello to all.

sorry for the situation, makes me feel the creeps when i say sometimes i wouldnt mind someone taking out the 850.. when its sick and thats alot, but then i reach deep and with the stiker shock comes driving satisfaction, at that hefty price... if you dont opt to repair it, can i buy it? really... if its totaled, i will buy it and arange pick up and delivery. not to prey on such a bumb time. sorry. if you do want to repair it, i know wher ther is a secret stash of 850s and s70s that have donated to mine, and yes, they are legal. its a euro yard. i get parts.

I have a guy who is interested, but I going with the highest bidder.

The car has 202k, 26.7 MPG and over 30 Highway. The car runs, but looks a little ugly now.

The body guy says the car is total because the air bags were deployed.

I guess they don't see the point in repairing the car.

I'm not into reparing cars anymore, so this is the route I have to take.

If you are serious, let me know.

If its that substantial, i'd sell it too, and buy another 850. Preferably an R. Or a T5 at least.

I've decided to sale my volvo, so if anyone is interested let me know.

The car still runs great, but the dash, rear bumper, front window needs to be repair.

I just don't have the time or skill to fix the car.
