It is really simple, there is a rubber plug in the dash below the speedometer. Carefully remove the plug, and insert something small enough, a bent up paper clip and push the button in, with the engine running or ignition on of course. Now carefully reinsert the rubber plug, this is where many mess up, that plug will easily fit thru the hole and then roll around inside the cluster.

DanR '94 964 336,000 miles (102,000 on the new engine)
