Drives: 1994 volvo 850 turbo

help please, my 1994 850 turbo is coding the arrow on the dash.
1. when you first crank the car, the arrow light starts to blink, if driven it shifts long rpms and quite never reaches top gear.
2. if you turn the key on and off a couple of time the light will go off and the car drives normal tested in all driving styles.
3. i waited for the light to blink again, as it did i pulled a 4-4-3 blinks on the A-2 connector. apon looking it up i did not find that code in the motronic 4.3 list, but did see it in a listfor the non turbo ecu, 4-4-3 shows cat issues. but no code for the reason that arrow blinks.
Im awaiting the IPD trans flush kit in a mater of days, i also have a plan B to find another tranny, but cant something else be done? please could someone explain what the ports mean on the onboard code box? A-1? A-2? ect? if i only knew why its tossing codes on the tranny arrow i could save my 850? help im confused...

ok, i took a trip to the dealer this morning. butnot before i let the car warm, the arrow lighted again, so i turned off the car, placed my foot on the brake, and took travel of the gear selector full from park to drive one, somany times i lost count, then restarted the car and no light, at all, drove to the dealer purchased a knock sensor, went to my storage and bought, from myself, a air/fuel gauge. no light, at all..... but the dealer said my days are numbered. it was the pnp switch, dealer part for 165.00.... not bad, they will do it for 195.00, hmmm, not bad. thanks for the help, i enjoyed a full days run without that funky fear....
thanks Mason!!!!! :liebe011:
