Hey Guys,

I have a 95' 850 GLT non turbo. My car also has OBD II which people tell me is unique.

My question is: What engines from what models and years would be pretty much drop right in and bolt right up?

This is my first major overhaul with this vehicle and I am really just looking for a little guidance and a push in the right direction. I know there are prob some sort of numbers I should be looking to match up but I'm not really sure. Also will my ECU work with the engine that would hook right up?

Inc ase you are wondering the reason I am looking in to dropping in an engine is because
my car has about 200,000 miles on it and there seems to be a lot of blown seals, there's break fluid leaking out of the cracked break distribution block and my car has a horrible tap and it also misses. Thats why i just want to start all over again with another engine.

My plan is to pull the engine and try to clean the engine bay of oil and brake fluid as much as possible. Any suggestions for that as well?

Because yours is OBD2, you can fit anything from late 1995 (that uses same OBD2) to 1997.
Drag and Drop, or Plug and Play.
(In reality, not THAT easy, though)
