[FONT=Optima]Does anyone know of where I might be able to get the blank for my 1990 760 gle. The dealer came up with a key code of 0000, and the only reason that the locksmith didn't try was because he didn't have the blank for that model. I think the key blank ends in 66. I might of found the blank at a web sight, but if I could get some direction for this I would appreciate it. :(

Did you loose all your keys or just need a copy?
I think walmart and most stores carry the blank for the early Volvo's.

I believe you'll be able to get a pair of blank keys from E-bay.
the web-address is:
http://search.ebay.ca/volvo-760-key_Parts-...ntrypageZsearch

Good luck :)

There was a series of 760's that were very difficult to get codes for. They were actually lost by Volvo. Worst case scenario I ran into was I had to actually send it to Volvo Canada to have them cut it manually. Is your key a standard "cut" key or is it one of the "Laser" cut keys. If it is Laser cut not many places will be able to do them. Good Luck
