60mph, on a straight, two-lane (each way) road...

I'm in the left lane, chillin, when a Grand-Am decides to pull on from the right, and cross over into my lane at about five miles an hour.

Clutch and brake both get stomped, at least three of Volvo's acronyms kick in-

(ABS DTSC EBD BBQ ETC),

-and the R halts faster than I ever thought possible.

A lot of talk goes around about how to make these tanks hustle, I'd like to humbly ask that brake upgrades be considered equally with the zoomy parts.

Had I been in the 240, I'd either have punted that Grand-Am into the future, or be waiting for a tow truck to fish the wagon's carcass out of the weeds.

Thank you. :57: -JMG

Glad you avoided an accident. Didn't know you could get the BBQ option installed on a Volvo

It is kind of ironic that people seem to not worry about braking even though they want to go faster. Personally, I think brakes should always be looked into to upgrade...plus upgrades look great!

I got these http://www.evolvecars.com/site/index.php?id=103,304,0,0,1,0 and love them!!

Oh, and glad to hear you and the R are OK :)
