My 98 V70 has 100,000 kilometeres and its also a Turbo

When should I get a tune up, it has never had one?

about now. as in right now. how long have you had the 70? as for a mechanic, i would check out a website, cartalk.com, and find the link to the find a mechanic, type in your zip and see what comes up. if there are people from your area who trust a certain mechanic, they will post their name and number. if not, i would drive around and find another 70 like yours and ask the owner where they go. i know that it is not the best response, but i am not certain how reliable the mechanics are in canada. good luck and keep us posted please.

Wires, plugs, in cabin air filter, and the engine air filter will get her running like new again. If you want to go the extra step replacing the Oil water/seperator part of the emissions system would also be beneficial.

In about 20K more kilometers your going to want to get your belt, belt tensioner, and water pump replaced. The water pump is a do it while your in there sort of thing saving you money on future labor should it go out.

I would ask them to inspect the belt while their at it, even tho you don't meet the mileage requirement it could still be cracking after all these years.
