I think it was 2006 when volvo started offering sirius with their radio setup. Is it possible to add an 2006 S60 radio setup to an 2004 S60 car?

I have an after market radio and it doesn't look nice. I would like to have a factor look..
Thanks...

No experience here, but within the same model you should be able to add Sirius to your existsing vehicle, but it may not be cheap.

Sounds like your headunit was not designed to accomodate Sirius or any satellite radio service, so you may be looking at replacing the head unit if you do not want to deal with use or looks of using your current aftermarket reciever.

Might try some auto salvage yards or ebay for a used head unit that will serve your purpose.

Personally, I would replace the head unit with a much nicer aftermarket head unit that accomodates satellite radio (and will probably give you some more added functions too). It would probably be cheaper than buying a new head unit from the dealer. Although, some newer Volvos have other important parts of the vehicle tied into the head unit and without properly investigating if yours does, you could end up with some problems.

thank you for your insite, that's what the dealer told me too, but i thought they just didn't want to do it. I have a nice after market product now...I'll just stay with that.
Thanks

Keep an eye on Ebay, you just might find what you want cheap. Many OEM factory radios go cheap (granted newer ones with special features people want may not be so cheap), but as a whole factory radios generally don't bring alot. Salvage yards are good places too, although you cannot always guarantee there working capacity sometimes.
