Hi

Ist post, so go easy.I've searched on the forums for my problem (well, the car's) and have had no joy...

1999 V70 2.4 petrol. Sluggish at low revs, although goes fine in 3rd with foot to the floor. Gives the impression that the more you push it, the slower it goes. Very kangarooish at low revs (say, from traffic lights) and it's struggling to climb up the revs unless you're in a lower gear and revving its nuts off.

It's also started drinking petrol and is bringing in less than 10mpg at present.

Help!

Hello there, try checkin the MAF sensor by swapin it with one from another car, alternatively disconnect the MAF and drive the car, if you notice an improvement, then your MAF is the culprit,

Hope this helps
