Yeah, it was a shock to hear that they dealt directly with some boneyard out in South Carolina.
The compressor looked like it was pulled off a junker, thrown in a box with some newspaper, and sent as is. The discharge port was damaged but was "good enough" for the oring to do it's job. Moral of the story: NEXT time I am sending my original out to the refurb shop. In the meantime we'll just take advantage of the "THREE YEAR WARRANTY" they claim to have. She was flushed piecemeal before I put the system under vac. 7 oz. or so of PAG 100 compressor oil (with dye) and about 22 oz. of cool-juice and we're rockin' like Dokken! It really was the compressor in this instance. Unbelievable... |

Awesome, I am glad you got it fixed and your son will be comfortable. I would like to get mine fixed its a lot of money.
