Hy
I have a message come on in the last 2 weeks, regarding the transmission service required. These was happend in the beganing, but now after 2 weeks I descovered that the message convert in transmission service urgent, and the gearbox when sometime it get stuck in 3 gear, sometime is working normal. Now I descovered that the gearbox is linking all the way arround the gasket.
So now I have the gasket but I dont know what kind of oil shoud I use because the volvo dealer from Sydney had toled me that there is no special iol for gearbox. Idiots.
Please if somebody can give me some details regarding the oil I will be thakfully forever cheers.

You should be able to find more useful help in the S80 forum. This is the 850 forum. The 850 did not have a tiptronic option.

The S80s uses different ATF, as well... i think.
