How do I get out the master window switch in the middle of my console? Can I pry it out? Some reason my switch for the passenger front window works going down but up.... well you gotta push the button several times. (been getting worse started about a week ago)
Today it took me almost my whole trip home (30 minutes) to get my window to go up. It DOES NOT go up a little when I push the button. It goes up when it feels like it. Think its the switch or something in the door?

I think, its the switch. Sortof common. I think you can pull it up, but the wiring harness underneath may stop you from pulling the thing too far. I think you may still need to remove the center console to remove the harness. A new switch comes attached with wires.

Well hope this makes you feel better. I once stumbled upon a version of the switch that looks easier to fit in. THe connection bracket is attached directly to the switch itself.

Lets hope you're using that one.
(Though i doubt).

Not what I wanted to hear...

My driver's side electric widow used to drive me mad - you'd never know when you put the window down if it would decide to stay down and not go up again.

I used to wiggle and jiggle the window button until the window went up - but it was a regular PITA.

I took the door lining off to see if it was jamming in the tracks, but everything seemed O.K.

One day I discover (purely by accident) if I pressed the switch in a particular spot, the window went up and down without any hassles.

My guess is the switch was slightly worn in one spot and pressing it a different way made the necessary contact.

I'm not suggesting this is your problem too - but it might be worth trying it out to see if you have a similar problem.

My window hasn't played up at all since I discovered the spot to depress the window button.

Best of luck!

IPD, man. Its as cheap as it can get. While you're there, buy like 10 pieces, and sell them to your friends, as well. At least you wont lose it soon after purchase when your friends borrow and 'forgets' to return it.

hey piece, you can always just use a small screwdriver with the head covered in scotch tape. or a thick butter knife. start in a corner, gently move the knife back and forth until it pops loose.
