I wish I was still in the US, the car prices there are really good compared to here in Malaysia. A T5R for 500? Hehehehehe... I'd apply for a PR status right away!

Anyways, good to have you here littlemommy. A toast form bigdaddy!

80's hair metal band? Oh yeah - I was all about the hairbands!!! I mean, while everyone was wearing Drakar and listing to Two Live Crew I was rocking out to some GnR, Poison, and Motley Crew!!

Ok -So I posted an ad on Craigslist for my car http://tampa.craigslist.org/car/731520078.html

I have gotten a few bites. About 4 people have responded. There is one person that seems more than excited about even the idea that he may get this car. I told him 4K. We can work from there I guess, however if I get a better offer I certainly wont refuse.

I am excited, but at the same time, a little scared to let her go. I think the price is going to have to be right. I really have no reason to sell her. I already have purchased my new car, and I am not hurting for the money, although it would be nice. I do however want her to be passed on to someone who will enjoy her as much as I did..and someone who is handy in the garage too and can get her in nice shape.

oh my, now that I have the offers I am getting cold feet.

Heather

hey little, don't worry. let the car be the deciding factor. don't drop from the price, i wouldn't. the ones who know the price of them will pay for it. and for hair bands, i used to work for AllBlack productions, type O negative, danzig, etc. lots of fun, hey at 17, i was more than half the age of the head guys. man, i got a lot of.... ooops, never mind  keep your chin up, little, don't worry. hey, you can always quiz the buyers to see if they are up on their T5R facts. that way you can weed them out, and scare the crap out of them at the same time. hell, if i was looking to buy a rare car and a pretty girl started grilling me about production amounts and horsepower at how many revs, etc, i would seriously take a step back before i would even think to negotiate a deal. good luck.

4K? OMG! I wish I live in the US for sure.

I would definitely have to pay at least USD10K equivalent here for a T5R! :) :)
The person who buy this car is definitely lucky!

Did you get it sold yet?
I wish I could buy it. But I might be able to help sell it.

I wish I could inspect it. I am only about 1 to 1.5 hours away.
I live near Disney.

Tech - I havent sold it yet.

I actually wanted to get some of the things wrong with it fixed. My brother has a friend who is a mechanic and works on only forieng cars - BMW's ercedes, etc. but I don't know if he work son Volvo's. He is a real nice guy and would work on things and all I have to do is buy parts! I am thinking I can get what I am asking for or more if I fix these small things. I am in no rush to sell.

I need to get whatever is causing the clicking when I make a hard left (u-turns is when I hear it the most) righ away because I am worried not getting it done is going to really mess up the car.

You said it needs an axle correct?
Most likely if the boot is torn/missing the joint is dry causing the noise you hear.

Once you get some of it fixed let me know and I will put the work out and try to help you sell it.

If I could sell the wifes it might have helped with money to buy it but who would want a 1996 with 220,000 miles on it for what I would want out of it?

LOL

She wants an R but I also need a Wagon and kind of looking for a R wagon.
Hard to fit a family of 6 in a sedan.

OK, OK, before i even begin. Can i ask how much exactly are you looking to sell your wife's car for?
:)
It's chipped, right?
Or have you transferred that to yours?
