I have a check engine warning. Codes suggesting camshaft sensor fault. I checket the sensor. Seemed ok. Timing belt ok. Any suggestions?
Do i need to replace the sensor? How de i reset the system?
It is a 850 estate GLE 2.5 10 valve 1994.

When you checked the sensor was there any oil in there?Do you have any problems with the car cranking long before it starts?

No oil in sensor case. When the engine is hot itīs sometimes difficult to start.

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 min then see what happens.The sensor might very well be bad.If you still have the same problem try a new sensor.
