Hello, I am new here. I live in Tampa, FL and I have a 2004.5 S40 T5. I have been having a problem for a while now with my volvo starting after sitting several hours. When i try to start it in the morning it sputters on the first attempt to start, but when i turn the key the second time it starts right up. I have been to my dealer several times and they can't find anything. They told me it was software, so i had the upgrade and the problem is still there. Has anyone had a similar issue.

Well, after many trips to the dealership, and the check engine light finally coming on, they found that my fuel pump is was bad. They replaced the fuel pump and now car starts fine, but now they cannot turn off check engine light. sigh.
