Does anyone know where I can get the spring mechanism that keeps the glove box from flopping down? I've been looking at parts web sites, but this piece is impossible to find. It is on the right side of the glove box, behind it. I also need to figure out how to take the glove box out if I do find this spring. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just checked it but it seemed the page was down. You might want to call them and ask for the part. It seems like they would have that, but they dont' always have all parts.

If not you can definitely take it into your local volvo dealership and they should help you identify and order the part.
