Ok my drivers seat cable needs to be fixed I know where the directions for that procedure are. I was wondering though, why when I brake hard or take off fast my seat will move a little on the base it even makes a single knock noise when it moves at the base. The 4 screws at the base are tight, what else can I check for to nip this in the bud? Also I hate electric seats, if I took off that plastic tray on the right side of the passenger side front seat would it be possible to put a passenger seat on the drivers side so they are "both" manual so both seats would be manual adjust. or was there a 850 (with leather) that didnt have electric seats maybe the regular 850 with no options. I want to fix my seatback cable but I dont have the confidence in myself to do it. Harry, you have any seats for an 850 around?

Second questions so i dont have to do two threads. Recently I got the age old problem of the passenger side front window going down crooked probably the clip broke, how do I fix this? Is it possible to get the clips?

actually i do, but it is a set from the other R i had. when i made that one a sort-of track car, i took the full interior out and put in racing buckets. unfortunately i am not selling them, bro. i'll see what i can scare up for you. the if the window was messed up like mine, you will need to open up the panel and take off the inner panel to access the interior of the door. fix the clip, and tighten it big time. i had a post about this same problem. the bear gave me the heads up, i think. good luck, bro.

there is a clip like that was at the back end, near the door lock, that was hanging. i had bought another door, figuring that i couldn't get my hands in there. but bear told me that the inner panel comes off, duh, didn't even try to get it off. when i removed it, i could get to the clip. i rigged up an angle clamp, tightened it, jb welded it in place and the window works. wooooohooooo. it ain't pretty, but eff it, it's on the inside and the amount of jb weld i added, the effin car will fall apart before this clip breaks again.

the only experience i have with seats doing the little knock was with the camaro. and the bolts were tight, but one of the seat rails was broken at the lip where the bolt went through. that is only thing i can think of, unless your seat tracks shifted off of the gearing in the electric seat motor. too much of that hanky panky in the front seat, bro.

OK, a long shot. But any chance the rail-teeth is 'chipped'...?
HEHEHE.

Yes, the leather seats do come without electric-settings, so you can go parts-hunting for it. "GOOD-HUNTING, Grasshopper!"...

Greek, happy to be of service.
:)
Cheers.
