There is a strong petrol smell coming out of the engine bay. What could cause this?

It happened after I changed my injectors from orange to whites.

BTW, should white injectors use the blue seals? I noticed on me buddie's V70T5 where whites are standard, they had no blue seals.

Thanks guys! :) :)

I dont know about the seals, but maybe run the engine and look under there use the pully to rev up the engine a bit for more pressure and see if you can see anything come out of them dont forget to look underneath they might drizzle not spray if theres a leak. Wear glasses.

BD,

Told you so. If you do take them out, pass them back to me. Thanks.
But frankly, the seals are supposed to help in sealing the petrol route.

Have you just recently taken anything out?

Nope. Haven't done anything since. Too lazy to take em out. Anyways, the petol fumes are present only upon heavy boosting. If you are in Seremban tomorrow, I'll see you for some tea and chat. Lemme know if you are coming. :)

Did you get your car tuned for the injectors? If not you maybe dumping way to much gas into your engine.

If you did get it tuned, then check your seals. They are cheap, so I would change them when you have the injectors out. Just peice of mind.

Yes you can. The seals are sold separately, except for the seals on the injectors, which are available in a kit-pack.

Run a search, i have posted photos of how they look at.
