Because you enventually replace every part in the car due to it failing. Particulary plastic parts like light lenses and such.

Its totally overhauled @ 300,000.

My fuel guage just stuck.

Does anyone know an easy fix for this problem? Its not fuse related. I found the fuel tank filler neck (740 wagon) but do not see anything that could be removed without a hacksaw.

The windshield washer pumps dont function either. I took them out and cleaned them today but no luck with them working.

I have the same fuel gauge issue. my signaler is fine but every time i go to the junk yard and replace the cluster the new one has a broken fuel gauge and odometer (makes it impossible to know when to fill my tank).

I fixed my washer by replacing the nozzles on the hood (which had pebbles stuck in them), flushing air through the tubes that run from the pump along the perimeter of the engine to the nozzles. At that point the wiper fluid would spray but very weakly because my pump was clogged and weak so you may just want to replace the pump. It's a quick and cheap fix. I think the new motor cost about $8 at the junk yard.

Good luck.
