i have to replace the left control arm on my 850, according to my mechanic. any one know where i can get one online and what is involved(bearings, nuts and bolts to replace, etc.) thanks.

check out fcpgroton.com get the kit, i think there is a kit. either way, replace all the bolts, to be on the safe side. good luck and keep us posted.

Make sure to use some greese on the bushings when installing. Put some pressure on the control arm when tightening the bolts to the frame. For example, get all the bolts in place but don't tighten. Then put a block of wood under the control are and lower the car so it compresses the coil over. This way the bushings won't seize in place and last more than 15k miles. New bolts come with the control arm, use them. Make sure everything is tightened to spec. You should be good.

Yes while imagining the procedure he recommended, i would agree that it would allow a longer life to the bushings.
