A friend went back to Switz and I managed to ask her to get me a copy of Haynes and Chilton. (They are not easily available from bookstores here, and have to fork out almost for the same price of the manuals to have it shipped via Amazon.)

But I found two kinds of Chiltons - Which is it? (Photos attached). Are they both the same?

BTW, I got the Idiot's Guide :haha: and found it very easy.

I have always heard that the Haynes was better but Tech will probably know more about it than I know.

It is a toss up the Haynes has some better info than the chilton. But the chilton usually has better wiring info about the cars. You will have to try to look at both and see what looks better to you.

But the Chiltons have two different looking covers. Which should I get - the white wagon or the maroon wagon? It may seem like the the maroon wagon looks more 'inline' but they are both for cars produced in the years 1990 - 1998...

Does it matter?
