Hi, I want to remove the rear double seats in my 1994 940. I can easily remove the 'lower' part but would also like to remove the backrests for more space. I can't see an obvious way, the pivot mount appears to be fixed in place.

Any ideas?

i dont know much about the estates, but i would guess that somewhere under the front lip of the seat base there are 2 backward c shape clips which the seat pushes into, if you push the front of the seat back and up at the same time, it should pop out ... it did in my saloon, but as i said it might be different in your estate.
