Drives: 1990 Volvo 460, 1992 Saab 9000, 1989 Range Rover
Are the headlamp reflectors and/or lenses the same on left hand and right hand drive motors? The reason I ask is that I've got a pair of headlights from a right hand drive 440that I want to stick on a 460 of the same vintage, but left hand drive, that I have on the continent as the current lamps have got a rubbish beam pattern after the reflector's gone. Whilst I could get new headlamps abroard (not cheap!), it pains me if I can use what's sitting in the shed. I known that the beam alignment would have to be altered to match driving on the "wrong side of the road", but is this the only difference between left and right hand drive?
