there is a plug grubscrew, behind which is an allen key head (ie you need the right size allen key to adjust it, from memory you slacken off but dont entirely wind it out, haynes should say.

Alright mate got a copy of the haynes manual and followed what it said but what i found was that at some point in its life my car has had reconditioned calipers fitted on the rear.

all i can see on the back off the caliper is a bolt which is beside the handbrake mechanism on the rear behind the piston is this likely to be it???

cheers

from memory you take off the bolt and the adjustor is behind it, you have to feel with an allan key, cant recall what size it was its been a few years since I had a 440 with rear discs.
