My car is almost out of gas and I can't refuel it because my fuel door won't open after I push the fuel button inside the car. I don't hear the audible click when I push.

I am wondering if there are any workarounds to getting the fuel door open? Help!

I ended up taking the whole inside of the car apart to finally get to the stupid motor the operates the lock. I just taped it open so I don't have to deal with it any more.

I did read somewhere else that it is due to faulty relais.

I am surprised that you do not have a manual release cable for the fuel door in the rear compartment area.

On my '06 V70 2.5T:

Take off the rearmost right-side interior panel.
Reach in with your left hand and pull the latch toward you.
