Is there anything on my engine that could benefit from me using one? I like how they look and I am always dressing up my engine bay or wiping on it. If you dont know what im talking about heres a picture of one. http://www.turbomr2.com/MR2/For%20Sale/Pho...her_62-1340.JPG

 That looks like a dressed up air filter that belongs on the top of a 2 barril carb., many years ago..Can remember in the 30's and 40's most of the cars came out with this type of filter for the breather on top of the carb....They had others for quad carbs and duel or three set up carbs....People would get them chromed for looks....
Where do plan on putting yours, unless of course you do have a non-fuel injection engine..???

that's an oil breather filter. my dodge and lincoln hotrods need and use them. not really of any use for you since the breather was used to vent any pressure build up, since you have fuel injection, no need for you. also, most cars were vented back through the intake to burn off any oil fumes. looks cool though. too small to be of benefit for anything else. sorry bro.

Dont worry, i wont delete it.

In fact, if you DO want to use it, you still can, but you'll need to modify your present PCV system to do it though.

1) Remove the intake manifold like in the sticky on the front page of this Forum.
2) Attach the pipe/hose to the PCV tank and the other end, to the breahter filter of yours.
3)Plug the IAT hose at the Air Filter Hose with a 'water jacket' and you'll be fine.

:)

Its just not worth the time. With n o gain. With PVC being mentioned, how often do you clean your throttle body where the carbon grows thick?
