[FONT=Arial][SIZE=7]Recently in my 04 xc90 the "rings" that are around the door lock indicator (the thing that gos up & down on door panel) have been coming undone and i have lost two. has anyone else had this problem? my local dealer said the only way to replace it is to have a whole new door lock. any luck on just getting new "rings"?

This site... http://www.takspeed.com/shop/ occasionally offers aluminum door pins and rings for R models. The pins just unscrew out, and IIRC then the rings come out. I have no idea if it's a similar design to the XC90, but there is a contact page on the website, and they might be able to help.

Snib button surrounds, they come out all the time, when you get new ones, super-glue them all in.


You don't need new door lock, however the snib button surrounds still aren't cheap, around $20 EACH IIRC for just a that little ring of rubber..

My dealer simply replaced the ring at no cost - you are taking about the trim around the lock post at the top of the door next to the window right?
