I purchased an auto start alarm for my 740. I have been messing with this for a couple weeks and still cant get it figured out. I was wondering if anyone can tell me where the following wires plug in. I was going to post the info but there is a ton of stuff but if you go to www.scytek.net and look at the 5000RS series manual page 32 it shows the info. I also dont know about installing an asperator as there is already one in there. I am really looking for the clutch wires to put the delay for the auto start, the proper wires for the ignition wiring to install and cant find out if I need to be using the positive or negative polarity info. Thanks

Your autostart model is not made to be installed on a manual transmission vehicle. There are 3 ways for this to be safely done.
1. You own a vehicle that KNOW'S IT'S IN NEUTRAL

2. You buy a autostarter that is built for a manual trans.

3 You build a special switch that goes around the shifter to know when the vehicle is in neutral, no one sells them.

There is an adapter sold by 1 or 2 companies that can make yours into a manual transmission autostarter. I would check to see if it is legal for your state to have one.

Thanks for the reply. The alarm I got is for manual. I have it in except I have to wire a clutch bypass through a relay. I have been checking everywhere and cant find any wires that work with the clutch. The instructions say there should be wires that come out of the top of the clutch but there isnt anything. I think once I find the clutch wires I should be good to go.

Simple test, put car in neutral and try to start car without the clutch pedal depressed. Most clutch bypasses you only need a relay to properly do it. If someone tells you to just jump the two wires together then IMHO they are an ****. Good luck
