OK,I have bought my T50 Toyota 5 spd gearbox. It has, I believe, a 7 bolt housing face. If I use a manual bellhousing from a slightly smaller version of the B230F block, is it likely to just bolt up? I don't have a pattern for either face, and rather than buy a new housing for abt $650 inc freight from 3000mi away, I'd modify a used Volvo housing as needed. The T50 is an alloy version of the steel W50 Celica/Supra gearbox, and will take up to 150bhp, whilst the W50 will take 300bhp. I have 114bhp, so I expect to be safe. The W50 is a 9 bolt face. Comments/ideas pls. NB a rebuild is anticipated b4 install.

ta, but the W50 box is a 9 bolt to the bellhousing, whereas the T50 is a 7 bolt fit. I know nothing abt the AW70 I have, nor the M47 bellhousing I'm thinking of using.
